Abstract:

Study shows that role ambiguity and role conflict were negatively related to OCB, and these relationships were moderated by OCB target, organization type, rating source and publication status. Role conflict had stronger negative relationship with OCB than with task performance. Job satisfaction mediated the relationship between role stressors and OCB.
