Self and image
Just as mirror reflections of our outer selves are far from totality, so are social reflections of our inner selves. The "quality" of image is contingent not only on our perceptual sensitivities, but also on the adequacy of the reflectors we choose, and more so, on that of the obligatory mediums - light and language. Self-knowledge only begins with apprehending the illusional nature of the artifactual self.

Is it not problematic that falsity of an utterance assumes the symbolic unity of the statement?

What is linguistic proficiency? Given a thought, is it a measure of how sophisticated the speaker's utterance is? Or is it the extent to which he/she can get it across to the widest and most diverse audience? Or is it his/her ability to trigger very many train of thoughts?

How does a child learn to distinguish an utterance from all other sounds? And what motivates this phonological development?

If human communication had to evolve from pointing, iconic gestures of pantomiming to language, then is it not likely that the future will see more sophisticated cultural artifacts that complement or usurp the current forms?
